As the daughter of a blue collar worker in a union town, Carmen has seen firsthand the pride, dedication, and sense of family the construction industry is known for. So, she began her career as a 17 year old receptionist with a locally owned small HVAC company and fell more in love with the industry.
Over the past 30 years, Carmen has served as a sales manager, estimating, and project manager for large sheet metal fabricators, industrial HVAC contractors, and commercial service departments. In 2001, Carmen founded NTD Mechanical after the company where she was working filed bankruptcy.
Today, NTD Mechanical is one of the fastest growing mechanical contractors in the Dallas- Fort Worth area. They provide both private and public-sector work supported by their $10 million bonding capacity. NTD specializes in Public Works, Transportation, Aviation, Government, Healthcare, Higher Education, K-12 and Commercial/Retail, some of which have required BIM and/or LEED expertise.
NTD’s clients get more than a diversity contractor to fulfill an obligation. They get a dedicated team of professionals who are committed to superior craftsmanship and a drive to get things done. NTD’s team brings a wealth of experience and knowledge that ensures NTD continues their ability to deliver excellence while building positive, long-term partner relationships.
